I'm a hybrid creative/strategy/innovation type. Brand building, advertising, digital and direct are my core skills, but I've also got plenty of experience in editorial content strategy and creation. 

I've built a 200 person agency from scratch, led very large creative departments, managed multiple offices, helped create award-winning cultures, frequently been a member of executive leadership teams across integrated agency accounts and have also spent much of my career leading global assignments.

I've worked in almost every channel for some of the biggest brands in the world including: Apple, American Express, BMW, British Airways, EY, IBM, Pfizer, Unicef, Virgin and Volkswagen.

2016 - PRESENT - Partner and creative leader for independent brand consultancy, Brandpie.

2014 - Global creative lead for SAP.

2013 - Chairman of the IPA's (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) Direct Council.

2012 - Omnicom global creative lead on Philips overseeing DDB, RAPP and Tribal DDB.

2009 - Launched cannes-cast.com in partnership with Contagious Magazine - the first ever real-time online video reporting platform at Cannes.

2001 - Launched wellbeing.com for Boots and iTV (UK's largest independent TV station). This was Europe's first multi-channel editorial platform simulcasting across TV and web and featuring a monthly news-stand magazine.

2000 - Founding creative director of Redwood New Media, the UK's first digital agency specializing in digital content. Grew from 4 people to 200 in 18 months winning many notable accounts along the way including American Express, Boots, BT, Eurostar, Hasbro, Marks & Spencer, Swarovski, VW and Volvo.
